Jean Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris join Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Expendables 2

With a budget of $100 million Sylvester Stallone has brought together the greatest ever cast of action heroes.
The Expendables 2 is due to be released in August 2012 but the hype surrounding it has men around the world rejoicing at the mega stars listed in the film.
The newest additions to the squad are legends Chuck Norris and Jean Claude Van Damme who we get a glimpse of in the newly released trailer.

The boys are back in town: Jean Claude Van Damme has joined the cast of The Expendables 2
Norris, 71, plays a good guy called Booker while Van Damme, 51, is the main villain called Jean Vilain.
Vilain is the leader of an opposing team of mercenaries that take on the Expendables in a fight to the death.
Van Damme had previously been offered a role in the first movie but due to a number of reasons refused to take part.

It was reported that he was scripted to lose a fight against Jet Li, 51, which he disagreed was a likely outcome.
Stallone, 65, has since said: 'We’ll have a big showdown between me and Van Damme, which has been anticipated for a long time, so it should be a good one.'
Kung-fu master and all round martial arts hard-man Norris is regarded as one of the toughest action stars ever and once acted with Bruce Lee.

Good or bad? It is unclear whose side Bruce Willis is on but he calls in a favour from Barney Ross
He also founded his own martial arts school called Chun Kuk Do.
Ultimate action men Arnold Schwarzenegger, 64, and Bruce Willis will also appear in the sequel having had cameo roles in the original.
Although there is no actual fighting shown in the trailer the epic cast of individuals is enough of a tease to raise anticipation.

The former Governor of California has beefed up for his role and he closes the trailer by firing hsi machine gun in to the distance.
The Expendables made almost $300 million worldwide and so Sly was given the green light to make a second movie bigger and better than the first.
The Rocky actor has stepped down from directing duties but was still behind the script along with David Agosto, Ken Kaufman, and Richard Wenk.

The trailer shows Bruce Willis as Mr Church explaining to Sly's Barney Ross that he owes him.
Mr Church says: 'I could have put you in the deepest, darkest hole but I kept you out. Because I knew that one day would come when I knew you were gonna pay me back. Today's that day.'
Joined by British actor Jason Statham, 44, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren, 54, the crew go on a mission to seek vengeance against Van Damme, who has killed one of their brothers in arms.
